The i MiEV: A New Challenge
The sensational i MiEV is at the Melbourne Motor Show February and March 2009
Operating solely on electric power and producing zero CO2 emissions while it’s being driven, the i MiEV represents a very exciting innovation in motoring technology – and will be unveiled at the Melbourne Motor Show on February 27, 2009.
Short for ‘Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle’, the i MiEV represents a true innovation in motoring technology. Based on the highly-acclaimed and uniquely-designed i mini-car, it is the result of Mitsubishi’s extensive research into electrically-powered cars. It meets all of Mitsubishi’s goals as a manufacturer: driving pleasure, safety and environmental friendliness.
The i MiEV has been brought to Australia to conduct the first-ever EV Feasibility Study in the country. The study will allow key stakeholders to personally experience the vehicle in a hands-on, real world drive experience.
