    About the Role

    MMAL’s Aftersales department was recently recognised by MMC as the highest performing Aftersales operation in the Global Mitsubishi network. We have a great opportunity for an experienced National Parts & Accessories Sales Manager to join our successful team in our Adelaide-based Head Office.

    As the National Parts & Accessories Sales Manager you will be developing and mentoring your team of Parts Sales Managers to assist them to deliver MMAL’s Parts & Accessories (P&A) revenue and profit objectives by developing and implementing P&A strategies, programs and policies.

    Your responsibilities Include:

    • Working with the National Aftersales Planning Manager to develop and implement Parts & Accessories sales strategies and plans.
    • Working around the country with your state based Parts Sales Managers to lead P&A sales growth in MMAL’s national network of over 200 dealers.
    • Contribute to the development of Business Plans to achieve sales & margin objectives.
    • Build an effective Dealer infrastructure capable of achieving MMAL revenue objectives.
    • Implement programs and engage Dealers to participate in incentive programs and subsequently measure performance against incentive targets.
    • Develop effective competitor analysis processes & identify new channels & or product opportunities.

    As a leader in our business the National Parts & Accessories Sales Manager will demonstrate behaviours aligned with the MMAL values, while supporting and assisting in the development of the team reporting to this position.

    What You’ll Need to Join Our Team

    • Significant experience driving sales and leading sales teams
    • Highly developed communication, negotiation and time management skills
    • Experience in working in a matrix or similar structure where the requirement to handle both complexity and ambiguity in reporting relationships are required
    • Flexibility to accommodate interstate and some international travel
    • Sound understanding of the automotive parts and accessories market including crash, insurance and hard parts business preferred
    • Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce/Marketing preferred
    • Dealership business experience and knowledge is an advantage.
