There’s nothing better than heading to your local oval to watch your favourite footy club; piling on your winter woollies, throwing the eski in the back of the car, jostling for position as everyone pulls up around the oval and settling in for a day of barracking. Now we’ve always known that our Triton is the ultimate mates’ ute and what better way to get together than to watch your local team. To celebrate the start of the season we let the Echunga Dee’s put our Triton Exceed to the test to see if it really is best on ground!
The reversing camera makes lining up close to the oval a breeze. And with an 11.8m turning circle Triton can manoeuvre into any spot. All set for prime game watching positon.
Don’t leave your drinks on the bench
The rear step bumper allows easy access into the tray, so your eski is never far from reach.
Cup holders are important accessories. These two are perfectly positioned in the centre console and are just the right size for a can of drink (or a bucket of chips!). There’s even a spot to store your drink bottle in the door for post-match hydration.
Room for the whole team
If you’re bringing the whole clan, the roomy tray means there’s space for everyone to pile in, giving you the birdseye view of the oval.
Loud and Proud
The best thing about local footy is hearing the chorus of car horns when your team kicks a goal. Get ready to sound your Triton horn!
Comfort from the cold
The roomy cabin means you can settle in and get comfortable in some of the best seats around. Even in the middle of winter your view won’t be interrupted by the weather, just flick on the Exceed’s rain sensing wipers. The only thing you’ll need to worry about is a rogue ball coming your way.
The Final Siren
The Dee’s gave the Triton a 9/10 as the ultimate footy fan. Only problem was that it was so clean for a ute that the boys didn’t want to get it too dirty!
So get your footy fixture ready, round up your mates and head down to the oval to watch your team play from the comfort of your Triton. Be sure to let us know about your footy fun in your Mitsubishi.
