Sunday Morning with ASX

Sunday Morning with ASX

June 29, 2016

In these cold winter months it’s harder to get motivated in the mornings. We are determined to fight the winter blues and have put together a few ideas to help you get out of bed and get moving on your weekends.

Get Active
Getting up and getting moving is the best way to start your Sunday morning. Rugging up and heading off for a walk or a run is the best way to get your blood pumping and fuel your cells with oxygen.

Sunday Morning with ASX

Pick a walk a run with some great scenery if you can. This will focus your mind on the beautiful things around you and it will feel like your exercising will be completed in no time.

A few of our favourite tracks include:
Bondi to Coogee
Anzac Bridge to Pyrmont Bridge

“The Tan”
Thousand Steps in Dandenong

Mt Lofty
Marino Rocks Boardwalk

Kangaroo Point Stairs
Mt Coot-tha

On Sundays we Brunch
After you’ve built up your appetite, reward yourself and head to your favourite weekend brunch spot. Don’t have time to have a sit down brunch? Grab a green smoothie to sip on your drive.

Sunday Morning with ASX

We’ve asked a few locals for their favourite spots and come up with a list of some of the best.
The Grounds

The Kettle Black
Breakfast Thieves

Long Lost Friend
Local Crowd

Paw Paw
The Rare Pear

To Market to Market

A great way to do your weekly shop is to head to your local farmers market. Fresh air, local produce and a great vibe makes your shopping much more interesting than heading to your local supermarket.
Our picks for weekend markets include:

The Rocks Markets
Paddington Markets
Bondi Markets

Queen Victoria Markets
South Melbourne Markets

The Central Markets
Adelaide Farmers Market

Rocklea Farmers Market
Jan Powers Farmers Markets

But be sure to check the websites to find out which markets are open before you head along.
