Mitsubishi Motors Australia Ltd. (MMAL) enables people and businesses to drive their ambition through the technology, design and product advantages in our range of cars, SUVs and utes. With a network of around 200 dealers and service centres across Australia, you are never far from a Mitsubishi Dealer.
We are known for our superior vehicle engineering. In 2016 we introduced the latest generation of our 4WD SuperSelect technology, which provides optimum traction and handling characteristics on all driving surfaces.
The Outlander PHEV, awarded 2019’s Green SUV of the Year at the LA Auto Show, is Australia’s leading Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). Mitsubishi vehicles consistently achieve ANCAP's highest safety rating, and in 2018 the Pajero Sport GLX, Mirage, Triton and Outlander PHEV performed best in their classes in the Australian motor associations' Vehicle Running Costs Study.
Mitsubishi Motors Australia is part of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, based in Tokyo, Japan. The company is a leader in plug-in hybrid electric vehicle technology. We launched i-MiEV – the first mass-produced electric vehicle – in 2009, which was followed by the Outlander PHEV in 2013 – the plug-in hybrid market leader in Japan and Europe.

Sustainability and Social Impact
Mitsubishi Motors Australia community programs combine our charitable giving with our SUV and 4x4 vehicles to make a difference to the communities in which we operate.
We support projects that are focused on helping communities through the use of vehicles across the areas of community development and disaster relief. In this way, we make meaningful change with a lasting impact.
Logistics in the immediate aftermath of a disaster is critical to assist in the assessment of damage and the effectiveness of rescue, relief and recovery efforts. Though governments and aid agencies can often move quickly to mobilise people, it is more difficult to gain sufficient, fit-for-purpose vehicles at pace.
Our Community Fleet program allows these agencies to request the use of our vehicles for the purpose of community development and disaster relief. These short-term leases are offered at no cost and comprehensively insured to the receiving organisation.
To make this happen, we mobilise our staff volunteers and dealer network – from our field technicians to our supply chain managers – to bring to bear free, safe and vital vehicles to support disaster relief and humanitarian aid efforts.
