Having previously been naming rights partner of the Mitsubishi Challenge in the NBL for a decade in the 1990s, we are proud to once again show our support of the elite basketball league in Australia, the National Basketball League (NBL).
Coupled with our partnership of the NBL1 competition, Mitsubishi Motors is honoured to be involved in basketball in Australia from the grassroots through to the elite level, supporting the clubs and the communities which get to play this great game.

NBL1 Australia
Mitsubishi Motors Australia is proud to partner with NBL1 Australia to support grassroots basketball nationally.
Mitsubishi Motors Australia is reigniting its commitment to Australian sport by becoming the Naming Rights partner for the NBL1 season in 2024.
The Mitsubishi Motors NBL1 is a semi-pro basketball league in Australia boasting 76 NBL1 clubs and 152 teams. Basketball in Australia has more than 1.1 million registered players. For many players, the competition is a stepping stone to playing in the NBL, as well as the NBA. Likewise, many NBL players also return to their local NBL1 clubs to play in the NBL offseason. The competition is thriving with talent and great basketball, which can entertain all age groups in a family friendly environment.
